Sticky Notes is a program that allows you to stick notes to
most any window
or general application.
Sticky Notes Version 1.05 Final
The .NET Framework v 1.1 is required. Sticky Notes has
been tested on
WinXP and I have been informed that it works on Win2k as well. Sticky
Notes should work on Win98 and up, however you will need to disable
fade. If this is detected Sticky Notes will let you know and give you
instructions on how to disable fade.
03-30-04 - I have begun working on New
Notes. For everyone
who likes Sticky Notes, this program is for you. I will have information
up here on my site shortly. All important Sticky Notes features, along
with a host of new features, all in a cleaner and more intuitive interface.
A demo version of New Notes is now available.
And for those who were wondering, the
demo version will be limited in
some way, with the full program most likely being sold for about $5.
Also, if you have previously donated to
Sticky Notes you will be eligible
for a free copy of New Notes.
As of 02-14-04, I am now considering
Sticky Notes to be abandoned.
I would like to thank everyone who did take the time to e-mail me and
make the suggestions that helped Sticky Notes become the program
it is now. I feel that it does much more than I originally intended, and
this has been, overall, a good experience. I have posted a slightly
newer version 1.05 that fixes the last known crash bug (the table view
out of sync bug).
I would also like to update, and say
thank you for the one donation that
I did receive.
Instead of looking for a sponsor, I've now decided to publicly
release
the source for Sticky Notes under the GPL once the donation count
for New Notes hits $500.

All note editing features are easy to use and well-explained in the
included help files and are now available online.
Simple hook editing allows notes to be attached to any running process
or specific window (this window is now larger).
All color schemes can be edited as well.
Sticky Notes is freeware. Feel free to donate money, but I will
never beg or bug you for money, or cripple software to get you to pay for it.

It is recommended that you follow the instructions on
Microsoft's page,
however if you have a fast internet connection and don't want to deal
with Windows Update then use the 'Download from Microsoft' link and
then click on the download button on the right side of the page.
The help file along with these screen shots are from older
versions,
these will be updated later, the program itself is my priority.
For the help file just use the built-in help.
