New Notes is a program that allows you to stick a digital version of a
paper sticky note to most any program or window. It can be used
as an easy way to keep track of passwords or other critical data, or
to just have some fun.
Here are some of the new features:
Note hooking is now much easier. You now merely
click on the
'Stick to a Window' button and then click on the window you want
to stick the note to.
Text alignment can now be changed.
Notes can now have a timer attached to them so that they do
not pop
up immediately when the window is selected.
Streamlined note editing. All the note editing features
have been
simplified for faster workflow.
Hyperlink, email, and file drag-and-drop support. You
can now click
on a URL within a note and your web browser will be launched. Email
addresses will launch your email client, and file names will launch the
appropriate program. Files dragged to a note will add their path to
the note's text so that you can later open the file with a single click.
